~ Koalafication - part 6: Octoberfest Down Under & Souvereign Hill ~

Don't worry guys, we didn't forget that the Octoberfest just started in Munich... so we enjoyed our own one here!!
We invited a few friends over and had a nice barbeque with a huge bonfire in the garden and also went to Melbourne for the Royal Melbourne Show for some more "folk-festival-feeling", food, shows, rides and lollies ;-)

Also, we explored the City of Ballarat during it's gold rush times and therefor visited Sovereign Hill.

Anderl & me in our Bavarian Tracht and we even found prober-sized beer glasses =)

...with plenty of attractions such as all the animals (they have to compete and get judged etc. ...)

... baking competitions - look at all these nice little biscuits, fantasic cakes and sweet cup-cakes!

... and of course everyone has to get his show-bags!!
